Holacaust
The holocaust was a very terrible event in history. In my opinion it's one of the worst events that has ever happened. The Jewish people should have never been treated that way. Six million Jews died, and for what? They died for nothing. This video had a lot of information on it and it was very sad. These people never deserved to be tortured to death. They were just standing up f or their religion. It was a very brave thing to do. I can't believe all those people were killed and the people that followed Hitler did nothing about it. They went along with it! These people that died are true heroes.
Gossip
I think gossip is a terrible thing. It ruins peoples reputation and it gets out of hand to quickly. I hate gossiping and people who gossip, it's a really bad thing to do and is just really mean. I know people who gossip and maybe it is interesting it is still really mean and half the time it's not even true. I'm really sick of all the gossip that goes around and the people who love to gossip. I'm just done with it, i hate all the rumors that go around. No one should be put through that, it's jut really mean.

Folk
I chose folk music for my computer project. Our class had to tell us about there genre and where it originated, what instruments are used, and the well known artists today. It had to be between one t three minutes long and we could have between four to seven songs. I choose songs by Chris O'Brien, Matt Nathanson, Brett Dennen, and Joshua James. These are some of the popular artists from the folk genre. I really like these artists so I put them in there. I think this was a fun project and it would be fun to do again.

You
Lent
For lent i gave up not eating between meals. It's going really good. I have not broken it for a while. The only time I eat between meals is if it is healthy and before practice. It has been awhile since I have broken it and if I break it I will still do it on Sunday. It has boughten me closer to God. I think i could be a little closer though. This has been hard but it has also been worth it. It is fun to do something challenging. This isn’t that bad. Next year i might do this again.

Explanation: How did this nebula get created? The Cocoon Nebula, cataloged as IC 5146, is a strikingly beautiful nebula located about 4,000 light yearsaway toward the constellation of Cygnus. Inside the Cocoon is a newly developing open cluster of stars. Like other stellar nurseries, the Cocoon Nebula is, at the same time, an emission nebula, a reflection nebula, and an absorption nebula. Speculation based on recent measurements holds that the massive star in the center of the above image opened a hole in an existing molecular cloud through which much of the glowing material flows. The same star, which formed about 100,000 years ago, now provides the energy source for much of the emitted and reflected light from this nebula.

I chose this picture because it looked really cool and it has pretty colors. It's called the Cocoon Nebula. It's really far away from us thuoght. It's 4,000 light years away. A light year is the distance light can travel in a year. So we could never see it without a telescope. It is by the constellation Cygnus. If you look inside the Cocoon there are new stars in there. They think that the big star in the center opened a hole in the exsisting molecular cloud and that is why you can see all those colors in the Coccon. I think it is a very pretty picture.

Strange Gadget
There is a weird gadget out there called the shower belt. You literally wear it like a belt and will hook up to facets. The buckle is the nozzle. So wherever you are you can clean yourself. It is targeted toward people who travel a lot, so if they're in the airport and don't have time for a shower they can use their shower belt in the bathroom. It is suppose to save you time, but who would want to shower in a restroom with their belt. That is a little strange. It can even be hooked up to a water fountain if you need to freshen up just a little bit. The belt is odd but kind of cool.
